Woe to you, blind guides! [You] say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.
And so upon you will come all [the] righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild [it] in three days, save Yourself! If You are [the] Son of God, come down from the cross!
And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads and saying, “Aha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild [it] in three days,
When he came out [and] was unable to speak to them, they realized he had seen a vision in the temple. He kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak.
What agreement [can exist] between the temple of God [and] idols? For we are [the] temple of [the] living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among [them], and I will be their God, and they will be My people.”
[He] will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
The [one who] overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never again leave [it] Upon him I will write the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name.
For this reason they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and the [One] seated on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.
Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff [and] was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and [ count the number ] of worshipers [there].
[But] exclude the courtyard outside the temple. {Do} not measure it, because it has been given [over] to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.
Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
Then another angel came out of the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the [One] seated on the cloud, “Swing Your sickle and reap, because the time has come to harvest, for the crop of the earth is ripe.
And out of the temple came the seven angels with the seven plagues, dressed in clean [and] bright linen and girded with golden sashes around [their] chests.
And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
